CLUB 2024 in Marseille
To celebrate the spirit of the Olympic Games and bring people together for this major international sporting event, the City of Marseille is opening the CLUB 2024 on the Prado beaches. CLUB 2024 is close to the Olympic venues at a spot known locally as “La Mer de Sable” (The Sea of Sand).
This lively 8000 m2 space has exceptional sea views to follow the Olympic sailing events. But its primary purpose is to welcome as many people as possible throughout the time of the Olympic Games: CLUB 2024 is free and accessible to everyone!
Constructed as an eco-village, CLUB 2024 is made of wood and coconut fibre modules and is powered by the sun with 500 m2 of solar panels. The site uses first-class waste management practices, including selective sorting, recycling, and composting.
CLUB 2024 can welcome up to 2500 visitors at once and offers big-screen broadcasts or rebroadcasts of Olympic events and highlights as well as a diverse range of sporting, cultural, and festive activities for all ages (conferences, themed evenings, sporting events, exhibitions, awareness-raising, etc.).

ACTIVITIES AND INTRODUCTION TO SPORTS/PARASPORTS FOR EVERYONE
- Every day from 10h to 20h, introductory sessions for all kinds of Olympic and local sports: beach soccer, breakdancing, rock climbing, BMX, (para)badminton, wheelchair basketball, water activities, aqua-fitness workshops (ages 4 and up), swimming lessons (ages 6 and up), and even pétanque!
- Every day from 18h to 20h, come to the Ephemeral Garden for introductory sessions in yoga, gentle fitness, tai chi, pilates, Qi gong...
- Monday to Friday, 10h to 16h30, fun and educational workshops for children: game library, arts and crafts activities, and environmental education.

On Friday, July 26 2024 from 19h30 to 23h30, you can watch the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games at the CLUB 2024!
EXHIBITIONS IN THE EPHEMERAL GARDEN
From July 24 to August 11 2024
The exhibition features 20 works that were created with an innovative intensive photography approach that resembles painting. The athlete photographed with this technique is no longer identifiable by nationality, gender, or skin colour; these details fade away with the shutter speed, and the notion of competition gives way to gestures and momentum.
This photography exhibition showcases portraits of sportswomen, allowing them to share their stories and reveal how they built their careers.
